The food here is excellent the prices are okay they could be better but it has acquired a really good reputation so they’re justifying their higher prices by said reputation of food. Service is average the interior of this place is a bit worn and could use some spicing up. However as I said and others have said the food is really good
This is some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! Every meat is great–smoked chicken, ribs, pulled pork, brisket and sausage. I would have given it 5 stars is they had more of a side selection (baked beans, cornbread, slaw, fries, potato chip.) Also the slaw was poor. Ribs were perfectly done and flavored–no need to add sauce (which was also good in all varieties of their sweet, sticky, twangy recipe.). Also available was a dry rub which was a perfect fit for their smoked chicken sandwich. Brisket was u ique for me. It appears each slice is finished on the grill as it had grill marks. It honestly tasted like little steaks–delicious!!Baked beans were a perfect 2-bean blend, sweet, smokey, crunchy union chunks. Cornbread was another standout. They must bake it then set the cakes in a pool of honey to be slowly sucked up creating an incredible candy-like bottom crust that made up for any dryness on the texture. This place is a winner!!
