Off Night Maybe. We ordered pizza from Mesa late at night. I don’t know if it was an off night for them or what, but I didn’t know pizza could be that gross. It was slimy, I don’t think I would have even needed to chew. The sauce was disgusting. Not to mention it was all pushed to one side when it was delivered. Maybe this pizza is good drunk food but when sober it makes you want to throw up.

Three words: macaroni and cheese pizza. I first tasted mac n cheese pizza at CiCi’s pizza (I know…) and it was awful.The three girls ahead of me at Mesa ordered the mac and cheese pizza so I ordered a slice. It was divine. Best $3 meal I’ve had in a long while.Overall: A-
Insane Variety of Unique Toppings. The pizza here is fantastic. Pizza on Dubuque is still my favorite pizza in Iowa City but these guys are a great competitor. They offer an insane variety of unique pizza toppings. Every time I come, I try a different one. So far I’ve tried the macaroni and cheese, the gyro, chicken parm and the spicy chicken burrito. I was pleasantly surprised with all of them, they were all delicious. This place is worth checking out…I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu 🙂
Holy Guacamole. They have so many choices of pizza. I’ve liked every kind so far. I know tons of my friends love the mac ‘n cheese pizza a lot.
