Standard cupcakes. They have vegan options, which are great for my lactose-intolerant friends! The swings and board games inside are a fun feature, but to be fair, I prefer Scratch for cupcakes in the area
Like biting into an inch of lard. First, what’s listed on the menu is not offered in the store. Second, the price per dozen listed on the menu is extremely misleading. We purchased an assortment of filled cupcakes. Out of 12 options only 2 were considered worth the cost, the blueberry cheesecake and the peach. Most were literally inedible. Either the chocolate ganache was so thick and overwhelming or the butter cream frosting was like biting into an inch of lard. The ratio of frosting / ganache to cake is way off to ever be acceptable. The cupcakes are too small for the filling and the price being charged. The fillings overtake the cake portion causing them to literally fall apart in the eaters hands. Cupcakes were designed to be eaten without a plate and utensil. First and last purchase.
A Dream Come True. I have never been to an actual cupcake shop before, just a bakery now and then. When we walked into Molly’s my mind was blown. They have the coolest family atmosphere and cool hanging seats, plus tons of board games. Along with AMAZING cupcakes (We got the creme brule with vanilla bean filling, so moist and delicious…) They also serve coffee and tea. The best part, other than the make-your-own cupcake option, is that a portion of their proceeds are donated to helping area schools. This is definitely a place to go to reward yourself with some sweet treats, plus in helping yourself, you’re also helping others. How neat is that?!
