The food is tremendous. Hot, flavorful and plentiful. Pita, falafel, hummus, gyro, lamb and chicken were fresh and delectable. I highly recommend it to those who like Mediterranean food, or who want to try it for the first time. This would be an excellent place to try this type of food for the first time.
Delicious!. Visiting a Friend in Iowa City, we stopped in for lunch. The place was packed. I had the chicken shawarma and an order of the falafel. Could not have been happier with the food, the price or the service, all of which were excellent. Really excellent use of spice in everything and the spicy, tahini and mango sauces bring a fantastic depth of flavor. Would absolutely recommend Oasis to anyone looking for great, affordable eats.
This place rocks. Hummus is the best I have ever had. It’s also sold fresh at HyVee-FYI. I live the chicken kabob plate w/Mediterranean salad and hummus. So fresh every time!!! I do wish the staff would clean the tables off in between sittings…..I almost ALWAYS have to sit at a dirty unsanitary table 🙁

Great for vegan gluten-sensitive eating! I like getting the sultans plate with falafel, hummus, green cabbage, and med salad. Their fries are vegan and awesome!!!
