Poor waitstaff at lunch. Came to Okoboji ’cause it’s been awhile. Bartender took my order, wanted a wAter or anything to drink, waited 10 minutes while he gossiped with the gal waitress & dishwasher. Wanted to order a beer, sunce they have Slingshot/ Backpocket, but couldn’t get his attention from the waitress. Bunch of old ladies laughing, they must have been getting service. Won’t be back, almost got up and walked out- no one would have noticed!

Live on East Side Iowa City. Saturday evening 5pm. Ordered a pasta dish, added julienne grilled chicken. What a joke! The bowl was not even appetizing looking, expected to see the grilled chicken laying on top but discovered chunks of what appeared to be microwaved chicken mixed in with the pasta. Did not care for the chicken. Addressed this with waitress and she apologized, but that was all. Husband ordered spanish rice which had to be a day old!! Okoboji needs to limit their menu and or have the cooks read over the menu once in a while to see what they are making. Price for pasta menu very high priced. Last time we eat at this business!!!!! We need a good restaurant on Eastside of Iowa City and this is not it.
