Delicious!. My son and I used to frequent Boston’s in Coralville because we love pizza and strange combinations. Well, once they closed, we discovered Old Chicago and boy are we glad we did! Their pizza is fantastic! I’m a fan of thin crust. A lot of pizza places tend to skimp on toppings when making a thin crust. Not Old Chicago. The toppings were mounded on the crust which was thin, crisp, and just perfect. My son goes for the deep dish which was well cooked, super think and also loaded with toppings. Oh, and the Italian nachos are great!
Friendly Atmosphere. My friends and I eat at Old Chicago occasionally. I normally get pizza, my favorite is the Chicago-style, Chicago Seven. I also always get the extra hot Buffalo wings as an appetizer. Sometimes I’ll try a calzone or burger but I usually stick with the pizza. They have a great beer list and I enjoy ordering the beer flights, that way I get to try a variety of different beers. The food isn’t too bad here and the service is pretty decent, I’m sure I’ll continue to come back.
