This restaurant is wonderful. Very nice atmosphere and service was fantastic. The drink menu was original and drinks were spot on to what we expected. Food was well worth the price and the flavor combinations were excellent.
Orchard Green is the best restaurant in Iowa City hands down. We’ve had eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. The service is always outstanding. The food is delicious! It is expensive but it is absolutely worth it. Parking can be difficult to find, so you may want to consider using the valet parking in back. Also keep in mind the downstairs bar. The level of service there is not as outstanding but is still good. The food is not as amazing but you can get some good deals. My absolute favorites are the charcuterie, cheese, and fish boards but everything we have had has been stellar.
Best Dining Experience EVER!. We recently celebrated a special occasion at Orchard Green and every thing was wonderful! We highly recommend this restaurant! The service (Timo) was exceptional and the food out outrageously delicious! We have dined there several times and have not once been disappointed with the service or our meals. The Orchard Green has the Linn Street Cafe beat, no question! The atmosphere is charming, lovely, and warm. This is our go to dining experience for every special occasion and will remain that way.
Food was great but expensive or perhaps that was my bar bill…the espresso martini thingy knocked my socks off. It was sooo good.

Best place I’ve ever been to loved the filet
Great for Kids and Special Dates Too. I have eaten here twice, once with my daughter and the other time with my husband. The first time did seem better than the 2nd, and I wonder if that had something to do with the time we ate – the first time was around 5.30 and the 2nd time was after 7.30pm. I still think the food is very very good and I love the fresh ingredients, the wine list is affordable and the bathrooms are always clean. I think this place has acoustics that can hurt sensitive ears if they have a very busy night, but it will remain on my fave list until something better shows up. MANGIA!
