So good if you are looking for pizza, calzones and chicken fingers. I highly add that you order a side (or 2) of ranch. It just makes it all better. Plus they have karaoke on Wednesday nights during the summer!
AWESOME!!. I stopped into Sam’s Pizza for the first time the other day after hearing raving reviews from my friends. The calzones were amazing and the service was great! From what I have heard, their thin crust pizza is equally delicious and the Chicago style is to die for. I wish I lived closer because the atmosphere and music are great, but lucky for me they deliver!
Calzones Are The Way To Go!. I love the calzones here, they are a definite must! The service could be a little better though.
Delish!. I had Sam’s pizza this past weekend when I was in Iowa City and I really enjoyed it. Two of my friends ordered the pizza which was delish and I had a calzone which was AWESOME. My only complaint was that the service was kind of slow and we had to wait forever.
Great Pizza & Breadsticks. My husband and I and a few of our friends ate here this past Saturday to watch the Iowa vs. Penn State football game. I’ve eaten here a couple times before but have always gotten a calzone which is pretty good. This time we ordered pizza and breadsticks which were both delicious. I really liked the sauce the breadsticks came with, it had a little spice to it. For pizza we ordered half cheese and jalapeos, half sausage and jalapeos. It was cooked just the way I like it, thin crust and cut into squares and the jalapeos were spicy, which can be hard to find. I will definitely be coming back for more of their pizza and breadsticks, my only complaint would be that the service wasn’t the best, we had to keep getting up to find our server.
