Surprisingly Good Bar Food. My boyfriend and I randomly stopped in here the other day. It’s a dive bar away from the downtown area. We had a couple drinks and ordered some food. I wasn’t expecting much coming from a dive bar but I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken tenders they have here are awesome.

Two Words–Taco Tuesdays. Tuesday night is my favorite night of the week thanks to Shakespeare’s Taco Tuesday. Often my wife and I meet up with friends or go on a cheap date night there and enjoy $1 tacos and a beer or soda. My wife is not big on TVs or sports, but Taco Tuesday is too big of a guilty pleasure for her to pass up.

Great neighborhood bar!. Great East side neighborhood pub, good food, lunch specials, lots of regulars, lots of tv’s, sports friendly with cable and satellite tv, open everyday-never closes early (when you work 2nd shift), next to 24 hour grocery & drug stores(great excuse to get out of the house), been around for about 10 years(been a regular for 7 years), friendly employees and a good get away from the downtown scene.
