Well, ostensibly this should be a fine place, kind of attached but kind of not attached to a hotel. Kind of visible to the street but kind of hidden. It wants to feel like a fine dining spot, but feels slightly cafeteriaish. Food is ok, and this location could fill a need in the immediate market area for some vibrant fine dining, but it doesn’t… nothing bad, nothing great.

Above Average and Delicious!. I have been to Share quite a few times in the past year, and I finally decided to review it on here. Every time I have gone, service seems to be my biggest issue. But I’ll get to that in a minute. The food selection is always fantastic, with a variety of interesting dishes that are always well prepared, wonderfully presented, and usually fairly quick from the kitchen. The same goes for the dessert menu, and I would say there is nothing you could go wrong with on their menu. As for the service: Each time, when I initially entered, there was no host. Granted, I was there for lunch and the restaurant was noticeably empty, but the most damaging error was there was NO ONE from the waitstaff in the dining area. They were all in the kitchen, and one time, I even had a fellow patron get up from their meal to peek around the corner into the kitchen to call for some service. However, I do also know that once service was found, the staff was knowledgeable and attentive, and certainly apologized for the seating error. They also had great advice for wine – as you would expect a wine lounge to have – and their recommendations DID go over well. So I would rate the service just above average, mostly because the errors I have encountered at lunches were both so glaring and so unnecessary if they just had one person standing behind the bar monitoring the floor and the entrance.
