Love it. It is small, cozy, quick, good food, good price, and it’s just great to have some place on campus to get my favorite food when I only have an hour for lunch. There are only a few guys working in there in a very small space, but they are wonderful.
Love of sushi. I think Sushi Kitchen is the best sushi that a college student can get nearby the University of Iowa. The restaurant has only a few workers, the owner is usually working there during the day, so prepare to wait a little while if their busy. I personally like their spicy tuna/ salmon the best.
Local Shop. Decent local shop in the Old Capitol Mall. Not spectacular, but decent for the price. The owner really cares, but his workers and himself are young and it shows. My chief complaint is that while it’s nice to see the kitchen at some locations this one could use a drape to hide how small and spartan it is.
I really like this place. The sushi is good and reasonably priced. I also like the casual nature of the place, it’s nice to have a spot in town where I can drop by for a quick lunch without having to be sat and such. The guys working there are good for a laugh as well, which never hurts. For what it is, four stars.
