Great place to satisfy your curry cravings. Our lunch group had nothing but positive things to say about our Thai Flavors eating experience. We were a little worried about its location but we were able to find parking behind the rec center just a block away. It is a quaint restaurant, but they had no problems seating our group of eight. The service was friendly, and the lunch prices were reasonable especially for the size of the meals. We were a little disappointed because they were out of egg rolls, but that is because they are so good. The atmosphere left something to be desired but overall we really enjoyed our experience. We also wanted to put in a plug for the Green Curry. It definitely arose as our group’s favorite dish. – 4.5 out of 5 TLC Spoons
So friendly. My number one at a restaurant is service. The waitstaff at this restaurant wonderful. I like that I see the same people every time I go. That means the staff has been there for a long time and they really know their stuff. The food is amazing and the cost is low. Very nice restaurant.
Good for Vegetarians and Carnivores Alike!. This restaurant has many, many choices when it comes to vegetarian options that will satisfy carnivores, too. Almost all of the entrees have a choice of tofu, wheat gluten, chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, duck, mussels, squid, or various combinations of the above.
An excellent meal for an excellent price!
Delicious. I went to Thai Flavors for the second time today, my roommate and I walked through a blizzard to get there. I got the chicken cashew nut, and it was super good. Lots of fresh ingredients, and they don’t skim on the veggies. Lots of food for your money, the lunch menu had items that were mostly about $7, and the dinner entrees are about $8-$10. Super nice staff, too!
Genuine Thai cuisine, worth going off the highway for!
Pretty good. Stopped by during a quick visit to Iowa City. It was really clean and quiet. It was good food for cheap. I had the spicy noodle meat dish for $6.95, which I made quick work of. They sell cans of pop, not glasses of fountain pop. A friend really likes the Green Curry dish. Not great, but good.
