Some of the best bar food in Iowa city. The food is honestly better than some chain restaurants and the house beer is great.
Honestly pretty average food. Burger wasn’t anything to write home about. Of your looking for a sports bar this is the place… For a sit down dinner date… Look elsewhere. Great selection of beer though!
It’s a decent restaurant. I may have just picked the wrong dish, but it wasn’t anything special. Good service though
Loves a Dive Bar!. This is my favorite dive bar in Iowa City. They have the best Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and French Fries. I always get the super hott Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it always seems hotter to me than the one they serve in Coralville. They by far have the best Buffalo Chicken Sandwich in Iowa City and I would recommend trying it. Let’s face it, the atmosphere however, is kind of dark and depressing inside and the service is pretty terrible. However, it’s a great place to go if you like dive bars and for a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.
May Be a Dive Bar but Has Great Food. Although the Vine is a dive bar and the atmosphere is dark and dreary, it is super chill and the food is great. My favorite is the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, extra hot, with fries. They have some of the best fries I have ever had. This is a great place to come and hang out with your friends. The service can be kind of slow, but the food makes up for it.
All u can eat wings on Mondays for $11 n the 32oz beers – vine stines. Really good wings
