2 Words – Potato Pancakes! I would always come here early morning 0430-0500 in Waterloo, Iowa and order Potato Pankcakes, kill the Applesauce, add extra butter.These are one of thethings I can never get enough of! Just add butter and a little salt to each pancake, slice ’em up and eat them! DEFINITELY DO NOT RUIN THESE BY ADDING SYRUP!!!Now these aren’t mashed potatoes smashed on a grill and fried. They have actual shredded potatoes, onions, parsley and other tasty ingredients.Once you try these you may never go back to basic pancakes.On a side note their onion rings [ I am a bit of an Onion Ring Connoisseur] were quite tasty as well. Not to mention their pies. Yum!I can now get neither in JACKSONVILLE, FL! As our last Perkins closed about 4 years ago. There are zero within 50 miles.
