Very Impressed. I had never been to a Hibachi restaurant before and although I had seen them in movies, I really didn’t know what to expect in terms of food or behavior from staff and other customers. – I was very impressed though. Our hostess was polite and attentive throughout the entire meal, never missing an opportunity to refill our soda or join in a friendly conversation. What really impressed me about her was that she seemed to be the only hostess working and she managed to keep up with an almost full house, never once losing her cool or skipping a beat. Our chef was hilarious. He immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome, cracking jokes and making us feel like we were old friends he hadn’t seen in awhile. His tricks were cute and comical. He made things I could never even come close to doing look easy and he was very kind about explaining things to me since I was a first-timer. The only thing I didn’t care for was him throwing rice at us and trying to get us to catch it with our mouths. Most of us were a bit dressed up, and my shirt was kind of expensive. I know it was only rice, but I would have dressed differently if I had been expecting a food fight.Other than that, the evening was spectacular and when I finally got my plate of food, I was more than ready to chow down. The tastes that greeted my tongue were mouth-watering. The meat was succulent and cooked to perfection, although the vegetables could have been cooked a bit longer for my liking. And the yum-yum sauce! Oh, I think I could have drank that straight from the bowl! xDThe decor could use a little work, but it wouldn’t take much to make the place both elegant and cozy. All in all, I’d rate this place an 8/10. Superb! I will most definitely be back!

Apparently this place is owned by the same people that own Sakura, which would explain why the quality of the food is so close (which is a good thing). But, the building and decor could use some work, to say the least. Service was good.
Awesome food. I had only been to a hibachi place once before and liked it. This place far exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed with the taste and quality of food. I will be staying in a motel for another week and will DEFIANTLY go back to have another dinner with this place before I head out of town!
