Rubes rocks! My wife and I used to go to the Montour location …. But it has been several years. We were very excited to see a location in this area. Moved here recently and have been there twice. The salad bar could have more variety, and yes you have to cook your own steak. But, the food and service are excellent! Great place.
Skip it. This is my least favorite restaurant I’ve ever been to. Service was extremely slow (in their defense, I think they were short staffed that night), but how does it make sense to pay around 30, 40 dollars to cook your OWN meal? Just stay home and grill. Standing over their huge grill made my face burn and it really wasn’t fun at all. Plus one member of our party’s meat was taking a really long time to cook so that took a lot of her time away from the rest of us. Most people aren’t trained to know when their steak is done the way they want it so it’s ridiculous to have them cook their own. It’s one of those concepts that sounds cool but is just unreasonable.They have Texas toast and huge vats of melted butter to use on the grill too. That’s kind of cool except their Texas toast is literally WonderBread brand , still in its bag. The least they could do is put it in a different and nicer container. They also had the worst salad bar I’ve ever been to, which is just sad for such an expensive place. They DID have good baked potatoes, but big deal.

Great place for a small group to socialize while standing around the grill cooking their meal. If you want fast service don’t go here. If you want chicken don’t go here
Not worth the drive or the money. Went here for a party. Poor quality steaks. Really bad service. Freezing cold inside, plan on wearing your coat the whole time. Hope you get drinks cause it took 45 minutes to get ours. An overall bad experience. I won’t be going back even if the meal is free.
Steak, Steak and more Steak. A cook your own steak place with generous portions of steak. Service is very slow, but friendly, just don’t expect to be in and out very quickly.
