Nice Place for Lunch. I’ve been to Reid’s Beans probably half a dozen times for lunch. Each timeI’ve been very pleased with the food. There are usually five or six choices on the menu board, always a quiche of the day, which comes with a side salad and fresh fruit. Yummy! There are sandwich and wrap choices. Fresh baked cookies are always available, big honking cookies that are delicious. Take one home with you because your meal will be filling. Last time I was there, there was lemon meringue pie but I didn’t order in time and it was all gone. I’ll learn!! Haven’t had any of the flavored coffees; I’m usually there for lunch and done with coffee for the day. The owners/cooks are fun and friendly and always welcome me back. It’s a small place with not that many tables and chairs, but it’s good food and I keep going back. Enough said!
Ok, so my experience was probably due in part to user error. i walked in expecting a coffee shop type arrangement, but really i would describe it more like a sit down restaurant with coffee. so i walked in and asked to order coffee and lunch straight from the guy running the place. we were both confused. but figured it out. it would be nice if there was a please seat yourself sign or some other cue that i ought not walk up to the counter. that being said, the food and coffee were very good. not best-ever but probably the best for several miles. after the initial awkwardness, the server warmed up and i had a nice lunch. if you’re in town or passing through, i recommend it.
