Saw both positive and negative replies, but when the hotel clerk said they had a great Mexican restaurant, we decides to try it. Options in Abilene are very limited on Sunday night. I ordered the Chili Colorado, but instead I received small strips of beef topped with BBQ sauce. Wife said her food was good. Service was timely, bit somewhat unfriendly. I guess if you are in Abilene and HAVE to have Mexican food, you could eat here, but I would recommend trying to wait a day or so, until you get somewhere else.

Overrated. The food here is not good. The margaritas are way to strong! You cant even enjoy them and they are made with that Kool-aid like mix – so they taste awful. The service is good tho. Its worth it to just drive to a neighboring town to eat better mexican food or eat at home.

Amazing cheese dip, strong margaritas and delicious fajitas! yum!

This is not what I expected from a 96% like establishment. First off this is not the worst place I have eaten. I ordered the carnitas special and was served very big portions of unseasoned pork chunks. They were hit and miss, some very tender and some very over cooked. They are very liberal with their use of jalapeos, so if you are sensitive to heat be sure to order sour cream. Both the rice and beans have a smokey flavor to them. The chips and salsa are excellent and the service was outstanding. So if you find something you like this place would be an excellent stop on a road trip through Kansas as long as you are not heading to Lawrence or Kansas City
