Great Place!. My family and I stopped at Carl’s on our way back to Wichita from the State Fair because we wanted something local and and unique, as opposed to something like Chile’s that we could have anywhere, and it was everything we wanted. Friendly, clean, a great selection of beers on tap, TVs everywhere, shuffleboard, etc…We had no issue with our service or our food. The chicken strips were standard, but great, and the burger was outstanding. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with fries, which was odd. There wasn’t a kid’s menu, but the place is kid-friendly, at least at 5:30 on a Saturday. They even brought over a container of Tootsie-Pops for the kids to pull out of. I don’t ever go to Hutchinson, but if I did, I would frequent this place often.

Definitely underwhelmed. My husband and I have frequented Carl’s since moving to the area, and have noticed a bit of a decline. We had the reuben sandwich, ‘nachos’ and a 7 inch beef pizza. The nacho cheese was warmed up from a can, and the slightly stale chips out of a bag. The sandwich was decent but nothing special. The pizza was pretty standard, but the crust wasn’t very done. We also wanted a Bud Light on tap, and the waitress almost insisted we get a larger can instead since it was ‘a better deal’. Our waitress was probably one of the most unenthusiastic I’ve had. I also asked for a glass of water, which had a very off after taste. The food did come out pretty quickly. There is also a large selection of beer on tap (if you can get one). Overall, very underwhelmed.
Awesomeness. This was the best restruant I have been to in a long time. All the people who comment on how bad the servive was are total prudes. I went on Saturday and the service was great, I got my drinks quick and the food was delicious. The selection of beer on tap is endless and the menu is great!!! You can decide what topping you want on all of your sandwiches and even play Keno!!!
Unprofessional Staff. I had a terrible experience at Carl’s. The saturday night manager is very rude and unprofessional. The good beer selection isn’t worth the horrible service.
