  Found a staple in my food that was ordered today.. This is unacceptable!! Especially for someone who is pregnant, this could of caused some damage!!! All the manager wanted to do was remake my order as if I am going to eat anything from this restaurant again..

  The outside of the restaurant is definitely deceiving. The food was good and the portions are huge. I would definitely stop in for lunch again. I won’t however ever order online from there. They print off the online orders then use the back of the sheet for coloring pages in the restaurant. The order sheet includes a lot of personal information that I would not feel comfortable having others see.

  Btrian. I’ve lived in the Junction City area since 09 and Panda Palace is by far the best Chinese restaurant here. They always give you very large portions and your gonna have leftovers for a few days which is great. The prices are even better for the amount of food they give you. The food taste great, the staff is friendly. One thing I really like about the food is they smother it with sauce which adds so much flavor. Side dishes I’ve only ever had the house special pork fried rice and the lo mein. Both are delicious I’m pretty sure there other side dishes are great as well.

  Great food. This is quite a find. the outside is so prepossessing that the inside and the food they serve up is like a well-kept secret! the place is very clean and the ambiance is generally much better than other chinese restaurants in the region. the owner/manager is a graceful, well-polished chinese lady who is also a k-state alum.they have two menus – chinese and amercian. i am not going to discuss the amercian. the chinese menu is excellent. a pretty good range of dishes, with fresh ingredients and pretty well-prepared. the hotpot is among the best in the region (certified by the many chinese, thai and other asian friends, i have).you cannot do much better than this for chinese food in the manhattan/junction city area.as far as maria’s comments go – take them with a pinch of salt. it is quite possible that said maria is not easy to handle given the somewhat intense tirade.

  Bad Customer Support. I have been ordering food from Panda Palace for over 2 years, sometimes on a weekly bases, but at least 2 to three times per month. I have always ordered off their take-out menu, which has never changed except for the prices, but the numbers that coincide with the food has always been the same. We always order with the number and not with the name of the plate. This is the first time that they messed up the order. When I called, the lady was extremely rude, and let me know that I wasn’t charged for the combo plate, so they didn’t mess up, but the combo was what I ordered and so consequently, I paid the same, because I figured in my head what I always pay for the same thing I always order, and so the driver recieved extra on his tip, and I got jipped with what I ordered. I think I will find a new restaurant, not because they messed up, but because of how they reacted to their mess up on taking my order. She basically said that it wasn’t their fault because they don’t go off of the numbers on the menu, which is the first time in 2 yrs, since I have always ordered using the numbers. So rather than rectifying their mistake, she tried to blame me as the customer. Just lost 3 customers.
