The fried basa is absolutely fabulous.The cornbread batter is seasoned well and is nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and fresh on the inside. It’s not greasy at all andI loved it.Even friends that don’t like fish like this. The service is generally good. The hush puppies consistently look overcooked, but they’re usually tasty. They have chicken strips for the kids if they don’t like fish, but only in a pinch, because they taste like they are out of a bag. They have specials just about every day, and the basa is always on special.Make sure to call in orders larger that 4 or 5 meals. It will be faster and make your overall experience more enjoyable.We generally get it to go because the atmosphere is basically like Long John Silvers. Regardless, give the food a try.I think you’ll like it!
