This is as authentic as it gets. They cut and cook the fresh corn tortillas right in front to see. You can tell in the taste too. I got what was basically fajitas with al pastor meat and it was incredible. I will be going back here as often as I can.
You’ll know immediately that you’re in the right place when you see the pineapple topped spinning cone of meat. Small restaurant and so very fresh! Order the al pastor. They will bring you a giant plate with melted cheese and tortillas that haven’t seen an hour pass since they were hand made. A must for foodies and taco lovers everywhere.

Great. Very authentic and urban…sometimes a lil hole in the wall kind of place is what u need. love this place and their service!!
Surprise Discovery. As my son and I were driving down 7th street to volunteer at the St Mary’s Food kitchen we saw the man making tacos thru the window. That moment I knew we were stopping there when our work was done. We were in a hurry so we ordered 4 tacos to go and took them and ate them in the car. They were fantastic. The meat was flavorful, sweet pineapple complimented the meat and the onions, cilantrol and salsa pushed the flavor over the edge. Next time we will make more time and sample more things from this wonderful little place.
Amazing!. It was just a short walk from our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn); great gritty urban scenery!!! Tiny hole in the wall place… The smell hit us before we were even inside… Such an intoxicating smell of all the right things! The tacos Al Pastor were amazing! My husband isn’t one to overstate how much he likes something – rather stoic man – after one bite, he put down his taco – looks at me, and says that was the best thing he has ever put in his mouth! I was shocked he would say something like that! The place was packed on a Friday evening. I had the burrito asada – and it was spectacular! We will definitely go again next time we are in KC!!!
Went for the first time specifically for tacos al pastor which did not disappoint. Pork was on a spit, fresh pineapple and homemade corn tortillas. Closest thing I’ve had to street tacos from Mexico. Look forward to trying more items from menu.
