What a gem. We went there based on the suggestions from our family. This is a quaint family ran resteraunt that also does great catering from what I’ve heard. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They checked in on us more than once while we ate. To start out, the tortilla chips were fresh and warm, which I loved because it’s a pet peev of mine with restaurants that serve cold stale chips. I liked the salsa as well. We both had the menudo, which was wonderful. A well prepared menudo is a pretty good indication that the other dishes are comparatively as good. We’ll definitely be back. I’ve heard really good things about their chicken mole. Although, I was happy to see buche (fried pork stomach) and chicharron (pork rind) as meat selections on the menu, YUM. Definitely take the time to visit Miguel’s for good authentic Mexican food at a good price.
Sad. This place it’s great but over time I feel like they lost the love they used to put into the food. It got old
Excellent Catering Service!!. We had Miguel cater for our daughters wedding (200 people attending), September 22 and it was FANTASTIC!! We had so many compliments (and continue to get) on our food choice. Everyone loved the fact it wasn’t the traditional chicken and beef with potatoes (although Miguel does have this on his catering menu). Miguel’s staff did a great job setting up and making sure everything looked perfect. If you are looking for wonderful food for your event this is the place to go! It was hard to decide what our favorite item was because everything was delicious–Barbacoa, grilled chicken and Pork in Green Chile Sauce.
The food here is full of great, authentic, Mexican flavors. I live really close and go there at least once a week. It’s cheap, and I always get in and out really fast. It’s perfect for to-go.
Try the Chicken Mole.. I tried a beef gordita, it was okay. A tamale, it was good, and an order of Chicken Mole. Wow, the chicken mole here is very good. My spouse and I stopped by here and took our food home. We both commented that we were completely satisfied after eating this food. This will be the place I go when I have a craving for chicken mole.
Great bang for the buck!. Fed the family for $25 with food that is fresh, tasty and well made. Excellent tamales and enchiladas. Both Miguel and the counter staff are helpful and attentive. Just a strip mall take out place, so take it home, crack a Corona and enjoy.
The best!. I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and it is the best restaurant ever. the food is always fresh and the salsa is spicy .I have had tacos and burritos and tamales. I try to eat a different combinations of food every time I go.if you are in the area swing by miguels.
