  Sunday Menudo. I have been going to Reyna’s for almost 40 years. Best place to take your kitchen pot on Sundays and fill up with some menudo for home. I love the jalapeno cheese tamales as well.

  Great and authenic mexican food. Delicious. the bakery items are so delicious. even diabetics can eat there. i live a distance from here, but we still go there for the tamales the great empanadas(a good variety of fillings). the breads are scrumptious. they have such a choice of sweets and these aren’t as sticky sweet as most bakeries you go to. but they are great with coffee and as snacks. you will love this place. finding it the first time may throw you but it’s just before 7th street on the south side of the street. but it’so worth it to find the bakery. be prepared to look down on other restaurant’s food, they pale in comparison.

  Best Mexican Bakery in Town. We have been to all of Reynas locations and sampled just about everything. We have never been disappointed and almost always don’t even make it out of the area before devouring half of our baked goods. The tamales are hands down the best in KC and a incredible price. Support this local business. Not only is the food delicious but the owner will go out of his way and bake whatever you want if he doesn’t have it and the staff is so friendly.
