Thanks Groupon. If it hadn’t been for buying a groupon for this place, I might have never ate here. The food was Great! Carne asada was probably the best I had ever had. We will be coming back!
Patty. Tapatio rest. is one of the best in town. no-THE best.the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. (a lot!), and it is always excellent every time we go.the atmosphere is wonderful. juan is our favorite. we just love him! he always takes very good care of us and has many excellent suggestions for every visit. we just love it there. thank you for moving in to our area. we always bring our families to tapatios when we get together for an outing.
Try it you’ll like it !!. My family has tried many Mexican restaurants but Tapatio is the place for us. They have a variety of foods & drinks & the atmosphere is great. The people are very outgoing & they make sure everything is satisfied. The food is excellent, the portions are more than enough & it is very fairly priced. Not to mention the little 3 man band they have singing your favorite Mexican tunes is also entertaining, I would RECOMMEND TAPATIO MEXICAN GRILL to anyone.
New to Town. I believe this restaurant is fairly new to KCK. We saw their ad on tv and decided to try it. It’s just off of I-70 by 18th St Expressway, easy to get to, from Johnson County also. Their current promotion is buy 1 get 1 one on any entree, lunch or dinner, For anybody on a budget that’s a good deal. My husband ordered the lunch fajitas and I got a burrito supreme. I was VERY surprised with the portions. They were very generous, even for lunch. And most items on the specials were under $8 for lunch and $12 ish for dinner. I don’t care for refried beans, but theirs were very good too. We got fried ice cream for dessert. It was fine, nothing fantastic. The service did lack a little though. I think it was just our server , maybe he was new but he was slow. Other than that this is an excellent deal. They have a full bar also for margarita people. From what I saw drink prices were fair. Clean, Good food, excellent value, ok service. TOTALLY RECOMMEND.
