Kind of on the expensive side, but for the location I guess it would be decent?Had dinner yesterday and soon as i got home i did however puked a little. After almost 10 hours i puked a litte more and still not feeling right. Ill know next time i pay 50 for 3 people at least the throwing up will be worth it somewhere else.. good luck if you go there.

This place is alright. The food tasted good, but I was disappointed in their selection of dishes. Not all of the dishes come with beans and rice. They also didn’t have a lot of dishes with cheese. We had a medium strawberry frozen margarita for $5 and it was big enough for the both of us. We had two entrees and a drink and cheese dip for the free chips and salsa and our tab was about $40. I didn’t like that they didn’t have booths.. they only have chairs.

Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant on the Blvd. Service is friendly, prices are fair and the food is pretty good. I don’t know how authentic it is, but for a quick lunch or early dinner, it can’t be beat!

How could you not love this place!? Come and get the enchiladas poblanos, you will not regret it!

Inconsistent. I have eaten here about 4 times and half the time the same entree was good, the other two, it was not. The carne asada tasted rather badly with no real flavor. The other two times it was good. The servers need to speak English, they don’t.

Mixed Feelings. …Atmosphere: Great use of a former Denny’s, they have removed the booths, tiled the floor and added an outdoor sitting area, part of which has a white tarp covering it. This place is always busy. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is reasonably priced.Food:Unfortunately, the food is mediocre at best. Their rice is bright orange, and nearly flavorless. Their enchiladas are wrapped in flour tortillas and have an orange sauce over them and are really, pretty bland.Bottom Line:I like the people, I like the place, it’s just that I go to a restaurant to eat and the food here is just not good. There are so many Mexican restaurants in Kansas City, some of which are very good, and some of those good ones are very close to this place, just down the blvd. My hope is that they would up the quality of their food to match their setting and their service.
