Great BBQ in a good BBQ Town. The burnt ends chili swas simply outstanding. I ordered a side order with my sandwich and wished I had ordered a large bowl. There was actually more meat than beans in the chiliThe sandwich was good, don’t get me wrong, but the beans with burnt ends were terrific. Portions are large and saw a lot of people taking leftovers home. A great place to go when in the KC area!
Definite Top 5 BBQ. I go to a lot of BBQ places and Woodyard is most definitely in the top 5 for overall taste, service, and value. The people are great, the sauce is good, and the smoked meats are fantastic.
Not Impressed. I was excited to try the veggie smoke burger only to find that they no longer serve it but haven’t removed it from their menu yet. I had the ultimate club instead which was under whelming. Being that it was their special that day I would have thought they would do something to make it different than deli meat and white bread. The coleslaw had no flavor either, the only thing I liked where the fries. I left feeling disappointed and hungry. I will not being going back.
Delicious! The pecan wood makes a difference.
Had the triple p sandwhich (pulled pork, bacon, ham covered in Provolone cheese). It was fantastic! Beans were ok, French fries were good. They were out of burnt ends. Boyfriend had Brisket and it was good but fatty and pulled pork was great. Baby back ribs were the best.
Bland. I tried a variety of their smoked meats and they all tasted exactly the same. They were grey and tastless with absolutely no smoke ring. I can make better ribs in my oven at home. Will never waste my money or time here again.
Second best ribs I’ve had in KC- next to Oklahoma joes of course. Everything else was decent.
