Warning: this is not a place to go if you put good food above drinking….aka this is a Bar that serves burgers. In other words, expect bad service, truffle fries that resemble nothing truffle, except perhaps the microscopic side of truffle dipping sauce, and dry bread burgers that are well done no matter how they’re ordered…nuff said.
Nothing, Really. Terrible service, rude servers
Underwhelmed. I wasn’t angrily disappointed by my experience today at Dempsey’s, but I was definitely underwhelmed. None of the food was bad, but all of it was a shade lackluster. I ordered their Bacon Mushroom Swiss burger. The waitress asked how I’d like the burger cooked, and instead of medium, which I ordered, I got the dull taste of well done hamburger. The mushrooms, bacon, and swiss on the burger were all perfectly fine, but the bun was a tad bready, which added dryness and bulk to a burger that would have been hefty enough on its own. The side of truffle fries I got were totally edible, but lacking much in the way of truffle flavor. I think if someone had served me the truffle fries without their topping of parmesan and parsley I probably would not have realized that it was truffle fries or anything other than an off flavor that had found its way into the fryer. Again, nothing about my food warranted it be sent back or refused, but the meal was disappointing in its right. I doubt I’d return to Dempsey’s unless I’d heard they’d upped their game.
The burger was good the fries were ok I prefer crispier. Our waitress really tried but was overwhelmed because the place was understaffed with two servers trying to work the entire resteraunt …
Best Burger I’ve Had. Their Kobe beef burger was the best burger ive ever had! the truffle fries, also amazing. great food. great beers. great atmosphere.
Prices. They increased the prices on fries. Uncool.
The food is great, but the service is not. Expect to wait forever for a (probably) good burger. The drinks are watered down too. Otherwise its awesome.
