I have been visiting this coffee shop since 2002 and always liked the decor and employees. Coffee is average but keeps u going during exams. Decent sandwiches at times pricey for college students which I was at that time. Great place for group studies

I have been to Java Break many times, so I figured I would throw in my 2 cents. They have the best cup of coffee I have tried in town; their blend is smooth and very flavorful. Their other drinks are also very tasty too, and so their baked goods. Wednesday-Sunday, they are open 24hrs, which, as a student, I value a lot because I can go here to study. It’s a pretty cool place.

Our very first visit, we had a cappuccino with homemade almond milk, a 16 ounce latte with skim milk, and a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast panino to start the day, paying just $10 for the whole shebang! The Java Break has friendly service and four large rooms perfect for studying while ingesting some much needed caffeine while studying or an early morning breakfast with your (my) sweety. The place may seem small from the outside, but it’s not. They have fair prices and we will be back again soon!CombatCritic Gives Java Break 7 Out of 10 Bombs … BOMBS ARE GOOD! combatcritic.com

The food is delicious, the drinks are perfection, the decor is retro and fun! This place gives a great ecclectic and hospitable vibe that is a genuine feel of the town of Lawrence.

Buffalo Chicken Panini. Outstanding. They make it and make great ANYTHING coffee. Feels like they are a little over priced but they are open all day everyday. i like that. Don’t fall asleep here. They will kick you out.
