Good Food. Jeffersons has solid food at good prices, and really good drink specials. While other reviewers are correct that there are better burgers to be had in town you can expect to pay twice as much at Dempseys or the Casbah.
Great Service – New Owner makes positive impact. Have frequented Jefferson’s off and on for the past 11 years. Have always liked their wings. Just tried it again after the recent reopening under new ownership. Must say this was the best experience I’ve ever had at Jefferson’s or any other Lawrence restaurant. The entire wait staff was super friendly and on top of their service. The place was cleaner, new fixtures, but still the same charm with the $bills on the walls. Food was hot and tasty. Fried dill pickles are still the best in town!
Love the wings here. The burgers are good also. But get the wings!!!
I went to Jeffersons because the sign said Peace, Love and Hot Wings. Everyone is particular on how their wings are and so am I. But it is rare that I get what I really want…a flavorful hot sauce with a kick toseed on wings that are meaty and cripsy. Jeffersons delivered…you want hot wings and a cold beer then this a good start.
Yikes. With Dempsey’s and Pachamama’s upping the ante in the burger game in Lawrence, Jeffersons did not get the memo. From the freezer to the fryer, this place might want to change their name to Blanderson’s.
Worst service in town. I only go to Jefferson’s when I can dedicate at least an hour to my meal, beause the staff is over worked at best and just plain slow at times. That said, I keep coming back for the delicious food and great prices.
Cheap and it tastes like it!. Awful. I can’t believe anyone eats here. It is not edible. I am shocked anyone thinks this place is worth frequenting. From the freezer the fryer.
