Solid little place that looks like it could be somewhere in Louisiana. Chalkboard menus, order at the counter, and few tables, again like a small family owned place you would find in Louisiana. Food is prepared fresh, there might not be room to sit, but this is a solid choice when in Lawrence. Oh, and check out the baked goods to the left when you are ordering. While I didn’t get any, they looked fantastic and also fresh and baked in store. Kitchen is probably larger than the dining area, which is how all good mom and pop restaurants should be, it is about the food you know.
