I ordered the chicken fajitas to-go and they were phenomenonal. I’m not really a fan of corn tortillas, which came with the order, but the fajitas were good enough to eat with a fork sans tortilla.

Tortas Jalisco is a Lawrence KS treasure. Tortas Jalisco is a family run restaurant with a lot of the standards on its menu, but what really makes it stand out are the regional dishes they serve. Drop by and check out the menu – including the incomparable breakfast menu. The serve the best breakfast in Lawrence, period!And always check out the special board inside the front door. One day I was lucky enough to stop by when they were serving Mole Chicken. The mole was made by the family’s grandmother, and was wonderful!!!!!!!!!
Salsa!. I used to go here and dance every Saturday night but they no longer have dancing there, which is a pity.Their food is really good and some of the best Mexican food in Lawrence, but they should really bring back the dancing!
