I had high hopes for this donut shop.They weren’t met. They weren’t bad, but they were average and with all the talk I’ve heard about fluffy fresh donuts I had hoped they would be great.As for cake donuts the only place I’ve found so far in Kansas City with great ones is Joes Downtown Donuts as they are moist and have amazing flavor.As for regular glazed donuts they were average. I’ve yet to find any glazed donut that remotely compared to Johns space age donuts in Overland Park. They remain the best in the city and the best I’ve ever had anywhere.They aren’t bad donuts, but they aren’t the best compared to the other options in the city.
Delicious. I’m picky about my donuts and these are awesome! I had a taste of a cherry glazed cake, regular glazed & an apple spice. They were very dense and had great flavor. loved it!
Great donuts. They put out a great donut! I would say they compare to LaMars. My visit there was pleasant and the store was plain and clean. The only thing I didn’t care for is they only except cash or checks. I carry credit and debit cards only. It just so happened that I had my checkbook in my car that day otherwise the clerk would have had to put back the 2 dozen donuts she had boxed for me. I will probably not go back.

Pretty good glazed donut and it’s on my way to the office. Haven’t tried their cake donuts yet. Not bad but not as good as Fluffy Fresh in Mission.
Super Yummy!. Great donuts! They are super sweet though. Not that a lot of sugar was ever a problem but they are sweeter than other donuts like Lamar’s. I definitely recommend giving them a try!
No question these are the best donuts in Kansas City !!!. Here is the deal. I have lived in many cities over the years including Austin TX , NYC, Los Angeles, Miami, St. Louis, and now Kansas City. Honestly, I have tried just about every donut in each location. Fluffy Fresh on State Line Rd. is hands down the best donut in Kansas City if not the entire US. After Fluffy Fresh every other donut is nothing but a let down. Unlike most other donuts, there is a certain taste/aftertaste to these donuts that lingers on your tongue in an incredibly perfect manner. My favorite are the large cinnamon twists for their texture,consistency of dough, and buttery taste. Also a must have are the maple long johns – the maple icing is like non you have tasted before.
