Best Jerky in Town. If you are a jerky lover and haven’t had Fritz’s jerky, then you haven’t lived. Fritz’s jerky is nothing like the stuff you find in a gas station or at a grocery store. It really is the difference between a Filet and a hamburger. They also have some great lunch specials you wouldn’t know about, so stop in sometime. You won’t regret it.
What a Find. I’ve seen Fritz’s for a long time but never really knew what it was. You know how you’re intimidated to go into someplace when you don’t really know what they have to offer. Then I got a Groupon so I decided to try it out. Fritz’s has to be the best kept secret in town for lunch. Their prices are ridiculously cheap and you get a huge amount of food. Have them show you the bun for the 1/2 or whole sandwich before you decide which one you want. I got the Fritz’s Special and certainly didn’t need the double meat it was piled so high. You’ll never go back to Subway or Mr. Goodcents after you’ve had a Fritz’s sandwich, the quality of the meat is so much better. Give it a try if you haven’t already.
Best Smoked Chicken. We really enjoy the smoked chicken. It is $1-2 more than the grocery store rotisserie and has great flavor. Also keeps a long time in the fridge. The sandwiches are very good and the full sized one is enough to split with another person. I am jealous of places like this….wish I owned one.
Great lunch specials. Friday I had 1/2 smoked chicken and it was moist and smokey and fast at an awesome price!
Excellene in Smoked Meats. WOW. What a great place. Went for lunch on a wednesday, for the lunch specail 2 sausages for $4. Had a regular italian and spicy. They also had a delectable prime rib sam, but the sausages were the winner here. The flavor of the meat, the spices and smoke come together perfectly in these tasty morsels. There is so much i want to eat here, its amazing. How can one not be impressed by the selection of meats, cheeses – cooked and uncooked that patiently wait in the display case. what a place!
Not the most beautiful joint, but what it lacks in beauty it more than makes up for in taste. It’s a great place to get heaping piles of delicious meat that doesn’t taste like the regular grocery store cast form meat logs, but actual meats that they make there and smoke there, and they have just about the best sausages in the area so if you are near fritz’s give it a try I don’t think you will be disapointed.
