Used to be a favorite, but recently service has gone down hill. I think there is a consensus regarding this among patrons as it always used to be busy when we visited and over the past few months, it’s practically been dead.
None Better. The experience was almost perfect. The food service, quality, and attention to detail was exceptional.Highly recommended.
Dissapointed. My wife and I went for NYE dinner. Not impressed, felt like I was eating in a cafeteria, food was mediocre, sides were the star of the dish. Servers were trying, but not up to the standards of the expectations they set with their pricing. End of the day, I (I have frequented the establishment for lunch with clients), I am taking my business elsewhere.
Duped. While admittedly a steakhouse is not an ideal place for a vegan, I can usually find a few vegetable dishes that fit my needs. Right away, however, it was apparent that the menu did not have anything. This is fine because usually I can order food without sauces. We were told there was no way they could prepare the food without butter or other extremely unhealthy accessories. I am lactose intolerant and still they served me a dish that was cooked in butter even though I specified my needs. FYI- their Brussels sprouts are served with bacon unbeknownst to me or the others at my table. The kitchen did a great job of camouflaging the bacon so it looked like brussels sprout leaves. I found this particularly disturbing since I usually like to know what is entering my body. I could still forgive all of this if our waiter wasn’t extremely unfriendly and rude. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn’t want to die an early death of heart disease.
A favorite. Sometimes nothing but a perfectly cooked filet and lobster mac n’ cheese will do. I love this establishment for its attentive wait staff, atmosphere and steaks. The sea bass is also wonderful.
Outrageously priced for the quality. Good food, but not outstanding. Generally overrated.
Nice atmosphere but…. Hubby had been here for Thurs. night happy hour and said it was pretty good. So we gave it a try on a Monday night. Sat in the bar, I ordered off the regular menu. I ordered a chopped salad with dressing on the side. It showed up with no avocado (even though it’s supposed to have it on there) and tossed with dressing and more dressing on the side. So it was nice and soggy. Really, how hard is this? Bacon was fatty too. Not worth $9.75. Cold asparagus soup was just so so. Just my two cents, not in a hurry to go back. Steakhouses are a dime a dozen around here. The server was nice, I don’t think the salad issue was her fault.
