Prices are a little high for what you get. Wait staff is kind of rude. Not the nicest people in the world. Plus it’s super crowded and takes a long time to get seated. Not sure why so many people are crazy about this place.
We arrived at The Cheesecake Factory around 8:45pm on a Sunday evening. Our server didn’t have the friendliest disposition, but we realized we arrived a little over an hour before closing time. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, two alcoholic beverages and two desserts. Once we were served the appetizer, we noticed our place settings didn’t have any knives. One of my wife’s forks had dried food on it. When we were served our drinks, I found a small spider in my beer. We pointed out the issue to our server who took the glass away. She did send someone over (I’m not sure if he was manager or not because he didn’t introduce himself) and he did apologize for the bug and indicated it may have been a fruit fly. We pointed out the utensil to him and politely stated we weren’t trying to make a big deal out of the issues, but we wanted someone to be aware. We enjoyed our entrees and dessert without any other issues. I was hoping that they would have made an attempt to make me return, maybe by paying for my beer, but no attempt was made and we paid full price. We won’t be going back because the customer service and dining experience were very bad for the price we paid. It’s too bad because the food was very good.
Great food, especially desserts!. New Year’s day lunch was excellent!Came in for lunch with a friend and was seated within 5 minutes of arriving. The food and customer service were great.
Like the food, love the service!! Andrew you rock!!
Great experience. Excellent food and large portions. Waiter was attentive to our table and knew the menu. Cheesecake was very good as well. We will be back.
A Chain in the Worst of Ways. I hate being presented a menu that thick. What it means is over-reach. Likely, most of what this restaurant is serving is coming straight out of some food warehouse like Sysco, and all that really has to happen in the kitchen is the final prep and/or a microwave. Portions are huge, food is super salty, and it feels like one of those places where the calories are hidden into all sorts of things that appear on the menu as healthy. That’s all my hunch. In the few times I have been obligated to go there, I have left feeling completely unsatisfied with the quality of my meal, and the prices seem high for what one is getting. As for cheesecake, make it yourself.
New Gluten free menu coming end of June, 40 plus menu items that will be available.
