Food is generally good. Certainly better than most bar food. We recently tried the Sunday brunch. The food is great for the price. The service, however, is generally poor to terrible. Our brunch experience was particularly bad service-wise.
Sunday Brunch. Just had the best brunch at Brewbakers. The Prime rib was perfection, all the breakfast meats, a french toast bar, and build your own omlette. There was plenty more that I couldn’t get to. Wish I had more than one stomach, but will have to wait until next Sunday. Price was incredible.+++++
Patio, Beer, Nice night in Lenexa. What a surprise….We had such a nice evening with friends at this fun bar and grill in Lenexa. Didn’t know it was even there. The patio is great, on such a nice night. They had sports up on two TV’s. The patio is very nice what a gem. Outdoor lights hang over head. Our new favorite spot to enjoy time with friends and eat some great food. I had the jalapeno popper to start, wrapped in bacon and filled with pepper jack cheese. They come with ranch to cut the heat, very nice. Then I couldn’t resist the Wrangler Burger, Ham, Onion straws, with BBQ sauce, Yummy. This place is great. Our server kept telling us about all the hand craft beers, we had a sampler of 4 beers, some were very interesting, it was a nice way to try some I’m not sure I would get again. Though I did find a couple that were delicious. So glad she told us about that option. Can’t wait to get back there.
Best bar ever!!!!. Amazing beer selection, great service, delicious food, especially the pork tenderloin….and tons of tv’s!! Great place to have dinner and watch a game!
So noisy the waitress can’t hear you, cold soup and don’t order the barley risotto yuck. Pork tenderloin looked good
Tried it….Didn’t like it. Went there for lunch during the week. It was awkward from the moment we walked in the front door. Several servers looked at us like we were in the wrong place. They looked at each other – waiting for the other to seat us. Now that we’re seated – nobody came back for over 10 minutes. We had to ASK for drinks from a server just walking by. I ordered the meatball sandwich….big mistake. The meatballs were bad and had the consistency of canned pet food….mushy and tasted terrible. My drink sat empty the entire meal, and when she brought me a check, then she offered me a refill. TOO many other options around for lunch…..I won’t be back.
Don’t Bother. All I can really speak to about this place is the lack of service. I walked into this place to find it relatively quiet. There was nothing to indicate that I needed to wait to be seated so I took one of the many empty tables. After several minutes of waiting for the wait staff to do something other than chat with each at their wait station, I got up and moved to the bar where I at least thought I’d be acknowledged. I was wrong. Now, don’t get me wrong, I can understand a busy bartender as much as the next person but there were only 5 people at the bar, all of which were already served and the rest of the place, as I mentioned before, was pretty quiet. After waiting another several minutes for the bartender to… what I can only assume was reading the bar taps, she came over to take the drink order of someone who just sat down at the bar. At that point, I was fed up so I walked out. Their lack of attention was just as well after finally seeing one of the wait staff walk by… I wouldn’t want them serving me anyway by the way they were dressed (shabby, dirty appearance) and their apathetic demeanor. I can only imagine how they’d handle someone’s food. I’d love to talk about the food since by the price and lack of service, they were obviously proud of it… but helps if they’d serve their customers.
