Awesome Foods and great Service!. The Callahan’s on 87th street now has a new owner and you can tell! The restaurant has been updated and looks great! They have a new menu with some more healthy options for me but, still great pizza and burgers for my kids. They are now serving breakfast on Sundays. I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine and it was awesome! Everything we have eaten is delicious. If you haven’t been to the Callahan’s on 87th street in a while you should go back. I think you will be please!

We sincerely apologize if you feel like you did not receive the same quality that you have experienced over the last 20 years. Please give us another chance and come in and check out the new menu that we just rolled-out a couple of weeks ago. Please ask for Jeff.08 Jul, 2014To Daddy Dan. First of all we are very sorry you had a negative experience regarding your child with food allergies. However, you did not speak to the owner – I am the owner and I too have a child with a severe food allergy. I believe your server that evening as well as the kitchen manager did everything they could to accommodate you – going as far as looking up ingredients in various products. I believe we tried everything we could to accommodate you that evening and again we apologize for any issues you had and would appreciate another chance. Next time you are in, please ask for Jeff. Also, FYI – we have a new menu and hopefully have some items that your child can safely eat.

In the 10 years and few hundred restaurants that we have dealt with due to our son’s allergies, this was the WORST experience we have ever had. The owner acted put out with our questions, you know, the ones that ensure our son doesn’t die! She had a bad attitude and a bucket full of excuses why not knowing what was in the food she was serving was not her fault. Yes, I was being completely unreasonable.We are so disappointed. We live in between their two locations and have gone here a number of times before and have always had good experiences. It must be the new ownership. Stay Away!
