  This place is awful in every category. It used to be great and a nice hangout with decent bar food. Not anymore! Last time we went the food was awful. Fries were hardly cooked same with tots. My friend got potato wedges that looked like they had been in the freezer for weeks and were so caved in that is was basically just the skin. Somehow the food took forever to come out too and it was hardly busy in there. Our drinks were not much better with just a splash of alcohol in them. The table next to us complained about the drinks and the waitress threw the bartender under the table. Our server was really slow too and kept taking smoke breaks I assume because she would just vanish. I don’t plan on going back here ever.

  Pizza is Good, But That’s About It. Reviewing places like this make me feel a bit torn. I went here for lunch on a Friday and had the Pizza buffet. First, finding the place is an adventure, because there is no big sign anywhere. I drove past it several times before finally seeing the teenie sign.This is a bar. There is no grill, no restaurant ambience, or even any bait. In fact, it was dark and dirty, even for a bar. (I don’t like bars.) The buffet area where they were serving the pizza was clean, but that was about it. I was actually thankful that my water cup was disposable.The service was about adequate for a dark and dirty bar. If you can catch the waitress as she’s running beer here and there, you can get service. If not, tough nookie buddy, you go thirsty.SO, if the experience was this bad, why did I vote for it? Good question. As I have always said, the FOOD is the thing. And, even though I really don’t want to like this place, the pizza was really good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it was very good. Oh, and don’t show up until at least 11:30 if you want the pzza buffet, because they WILL NOT put any pizza out until their watch says 11:30 on the dot! Seriously, they brought out like 12 pizzas right at 11:30. Not a single one until then.UPDATE 04/11/2012: On this return trip, they have cleaned some, and the service was much better this time. The pizza was even better on this trip. If they can stay consistent like this, this place may become a favorite, even though I’m not into the death metal playing all the time.UPDATE 04/25/2012: Pizza is still very tasty. Service is still pretty good. NOTE: If you are like me and don’t like being hot then you will probably want to avoid this place on hot days. No air. Not even a fan. Doors open and that’s it. Makes for a miserable lunch if you’re hot.

  We came in on a Saturday night, and Joel mcnulty was playing. We were surprised there was a cover.. but we’re pleasantly pleased and drinks were a 2.50 special. All was good. And we had a lot of fun. Thanks jerry’s!
