Yuck. Hard to describe how bad the food is at Panzon’s. Imagine Taco Bell with a liquor license, then Panzon’s would be run out of business. Yeah, it’s that bad . . .
Decent Traditional Mexican Food. The food won’t win any awards, but it sure hits the spot when I have a hankering for some traditional favorites, such as a tamale or an old-school deep fried taco. The prices are decent as well, but there are cheaper places with similar fare, just not very close. The standard salsa is pretty flavorless, but the jalepeno paste you can get to mix with it isn’t bad.
Blehck. Bland food and bad service every time. I go fairly often because there are people at work that have dead taste buds and think this is good food. Each time I try something different and I’m yet to be satisfied with the value or quality… not to mention the bad service that you can count on. The green salsa that you can request, if you know about it, does make the red salsa really good after you mix them together.
If u like crappy food and crappy service then Panzons is for you:) It left me with a stomach ache. Wiill never return!
Service was great. Food was standard Mexican restaurant type. I don’t think the other reviews realize Mexican restaurants usually don’t serve authentic Mexican food, it has all been Americanized so an average person will recognize it.
Never again. One trip i found a rock in my beans that nearly cost me a trip to the dentist. another trip i sat at the bar and noticed a dark streak on the drink glass. turns out the server behind the bar cut her finger and did not realize it. she did appologize gave us fresh drinks and wrapped her finger in a paper towel. i don’t pretend to be a germiphobe as i have worked outside or around landscapes all my adult life (49 this year). but that just kind of spoiled it for me and have not returned. in all fairness the food was good last time i was there. however i have not been back in several years.
Better than Mi Ranchito. On a a scale from 1-10, Panzon’s is a solid 6-7…not the greatest I have ever had, but definitely a place I go back to on occasion…Baja soft tacos are really good
