Very good pizza. My three sons and I stopped in for a large ‘Delight’ pizza: the Delight is their version of a supreme or deluxe. A bunch of meat and veggies.We darn near killed that whole pie.Their version departed from the norm in that they offered both black AND green olives in the veggie melange. A little bit of delicate sauce, a bunch of toppings and cheese, and a New York style crust that was a little thicker than the foldable slices you would find out East. A good thing, too, as it needed to be more stout to hold all of the toppings involved.Compared to another 5 rated pie, ‘The Luigi’ at Bob & Luigi’s in Bel Aire Wichita, the topping quality is right on par, with less grease and a more authentic crust. Good stuff that is definitely worth a go.
So glad we made the trek here. Visiting KC, we wanted to find a good local Italian place, and Italian Delight proved to be perfectly named! Among our party we tried the spaghetti with meatballs, chicken parm with mostaccioli, veal park with spaghetti and a slice of cheese pizza – so a decent cross-section of the menu. The pastas were cooked perfectly al dente, the marinara was a good representation of Italy (not overly sweet, not overly seasoned), the chicken and veal were very well prepared, and the pizza was the perfect combination of crunch and chew. Highly enjoyable, highly recommended.
