Quick service. Good food. Pleasant place for lunch.
This is one of my favorite restraunts in Johnson County. The owner of Don’s is my uncle we go there every weekend and all of our friends love it i love it but as some people say they just nuke the food they dont if u havent been in the kitchen dont even say they just nuke the food they make it and cook all of it so dont be talking about something u dont know all u see is behind the counter u dont see the whole proses of the making of the food.
My guilty pleasure…. Yeah, yeah- so they nuke the food and they are in no way authentic. But I have been going there since childhood and I always leave satisfied. This is the place to go if you want lightning fast, super cheap, slathered in cheese, stuff your gut Mexican food.
For 35 years :). I started going here back in high school in the 70’s. Same location, same menu. I LOVE IT. And now my family loves it too. And no matter what I order, ahh the queso! Sooo good! It’s like cheese heaven. And they serve it liberally on whatever dish it goes with. I get so incredibly full when we go. Yummmm!
Nice. I like the place. It was different from other mexican food establishments. I like the cafeteria style service. I give it a thumbs up. It was my first time there. I can say it’s not the best food in the world, but I don’t mind going with good friends after a Chiefs victory.
If want a place were you can bring the family and were every one is welcome then this the place
Grew up on Don Chilito’s. Don Chilito’s is one of those places that if you haven’t grown up on it, you may or may not like it! I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t but… :o) The best thing is that it is fast, cheap, casual AND you get FREE all you can eat sopapillas with honey! You can see the food line and it seems clean.
