This is an old fashioned chinese restaurant, the food is not creative as the decor, and notanything special.
Nice atmosphere but only decent food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and good service (late on a Sunday night). The food though is just average. My general’s chicken ($10.50) was made with the standard buffet style, mystery chicken that comes pre-breaded out of a box. For the same price of an all white meat entree at Bo Lings or Pei Wei, I expected more. The crab rangoon and spring rolls could have easily come from under the warming light at any local China buffet. I will not be eating here again. If I want mediocre Chinese food, I’ll go across the street to Hy-Vee and save $5.
