Delicious! Chips and salsa were good, fast service, good food, large portions, inexpensive
While the service was good, the food was bland. The pork for the carnitas was tender but too lean, and lacked basic seasoning. Other diners in my party agreed, the recipes were uninspired and lacked a sense of joy for food.
Good salsa. Enchiladas suprema’s are pretty stellar.
We loved it! Warm chips and bright decor. My enchiladas were excellent. The chicken in each of our meals was delicious and perfectly prepared. We’re definitely going back.
I have eaten here a couple times in the past and can relate to the mixed reviews…the first time was very good-good food and good service. The 2nd time I brought my family on a sunday after church and wasn’t so good….service lacked severely and my wife’s food was made wrong…then it seemed to take forever to get her correct order…in fact she ended up taking it home because my daughter and I had already finished. I’m writing this while sitting in the restaurant waiting for some carryout…decided to try it again because I had a coupon and already it’s a mixture of good and bad…1 waiter who was obviously busy taking care of a large table as well as others ended up greeting me. He tried to get 1 of 3 other waiters who were standing around talking to each to take my carryout order, but none of them were interested in helping me. He instead took my order amongst taking care of other tables and ringing up customers. Very friendly guy and obviously has a great work ethic….as far as the other 3 lazy guys….probably the reason for some of the reviews concerning bad service
Will never go back!. The service is slow and the food bland. I asked to speak to the manager after reading on my bill that I was charged $1.49 each for a hot sauce. The manager was rude and told me it was on the menu that the hot sauce was extra. Have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in KC and have never paid for hot sauce. This place needs better food and a new manager. There are too many places to eat in Olathe to put up with this place!
Great Date Night!. Great night out with my wife. Super great service, wonderful margaritas, didn’t need to wait for a table or food. Large portions and all around great experience. 🙂 A++
