Poor service…..very rude manager. Ladies Night will no.longer happen here.. I have been to this restaurant many times but the last few times I am always disappointed in the management. Save your money and go to Kmacho instead. Its better food and the staff is so nice.
Poor management!!. Don’t dine here! We had good service but were charged for a salad that was inedible. The first salad was very soggy and not up to any standards, so we nicely asked for something else. The 2nd salad was better, but we were still charged full price for the inedible salad plus half the price of the 2nd salad. Unacceptable!!! Too many other good Mexican restaurants in the area to go back to service like that.
Good Food and Service. Everything on the menu (at least of what I have order–probably about 1/3 of the menu) is well prepared and seasoned. One of my favorite places to eat in Olathe.
We had been looking for a good Mexican place in the area, as our old favorite has gone way downhill. The food here is good, especially the tacos al pastor and sopapillas! The salsa is merely OK; ask for the spicy salsa if you’re looking for some heat.
I used to love Mexican food. Then between eating it too often, and so many restaurants not actually serving good food, i just started avoiding Mexican style restaurants like the plague. La Carreta was a pleasant surprise.I was taking my oldest daughter out for some mom-n- daughter time, and we decided to eat out. Everywhere we stopped had a wait. Then, I remembered that there was a new Mexican restaurant on the south end of town. I figured there would be no wait. The food was very good! I also had a Pina Colada- well made and not runny, so I was also happy with that. The servers are actually Hispanic, and know the menu. Additionally, there are mini TV’s at every table with their own remotes. We watched Mrs. Doubtfire while we ate, lol. My daughter had a three enchilada platter, and said all 3 types were very good. I had a modern twist on the enchilada, made with a cream sauce- also quite good. We will be returning!
