Went by myself. I realize that larger parties mean bigger tips, but I still expect decent service. Three parties that arrived after me were seated in seconds while I twiddled my thumbs. I left after the third. Will not be going back. Too bad- I like the food there.
Good food for a chain. Overall i enjoy this place. the bread rolls and the honey butter are good enough to warrant a visit alone but the food has been solid the few times i’ve been there as well. and something about throwing peanut shells on the floor is always fun. i prefer to go local but for a chain this place is solid.
Verry disapointed. I had always heard how great Texas roadhouse was. First and probably my last visit. First it was so hot at our booth that I was sweating long before the food came. Must need to get their AC fixed. It was so loud I could not hear the server telling us anything. We ordered our meal. When the server brought us our meal is when the real fun started. My plate had strange scraps of other food on it., that was not part of my order. It had a big glop of something on the edge. I did not see it until I had put my thumb in it. Yuk!. The server then dragged the feet of the fold up tray table through my sons plate. Too Hot! Too Loud! Very poor service. triple threat
Great place/ family fun. My boyfriend and I eat at this Roadhouse about once a month or so. The wait is always an hour or so, just because its so popular. They are very generous with the food and between two people the bill is usually $40 with an appetizer. The waiters are usually really kind and friendly.
One of the Faves!. I go to Texas Roadhouse pretty often with my hubby. It is a fun environment and the food is always good. If you’ve never been – there is always country music playing and sometimes the waitresses do a line dance for you while your eating. They have peanuts on all the tables for you to snack on (but be careful – sometimes the shells are on the floor and it can make the floor slick at times). You always get fresh hot rolls with this amazing cinnamon butter. I try to only eat one because any more than that and you are full before your dinner comes out!! They have amazing salads and the best ranch dressing around. My husband enjoys their burgers and their chicken critters as well. Their food may not be the healthiest, but it is always fresh and yummy. And the service is always great – every time we go. No complaints from us – and we keep going back.
Best in Kansas City. Been there about ten times…always very busy…the food and service always very good. The rolls are great too. I would call ahead if I were you..especially on Fri and Sat.You can eat the free peanuts while waitin for a table, and wait you will. Worth it too!
Staple Favorite. My husband and I frequent Texas Roadhouse. We always have great service and great food. It is one of the only places that I order the same thing every time I go: Chicken Critter Salad. It is one of the best (not the healthiest…) salads at any restaurant that I’ve had! Love it! My husband always gets the bacon cheeseburger which he raves about. And to top it off, their rolls and cinnamon butter are to die for! (But stay way if allergic to peanuts… they are EVERYWHERE… including the floor!)
