Recommended by a friend, and did not disappoint. Fried corn appetizer is good, but pretty large, do not try to tackle this one yourself! Brisket and pulled pork were lean and pretty good, and smokey joe (mix of all meats they have) was excellent. Good selection of sauces, and ability to serve yourself is nice. Beans were so so, and of course not as good as jack stack, but what beans are? Overall, Broebeck’s was solid and I will definitely go back.

Yummy BBQ and delightful service. This was my first time to Brobeck’s and my husband’s second. The food was yummy and our service delightful. The ham salad is a must and the corn nuggets are cheesy, corn deliciousness. Their mustard sauce and ham salad are a particularly winning combination. The BBQ is quite smoky and flavorful. Our waitress was very friendly and chatted with us for quite some time. We’ll definitely go back when we’re back in the area.
Knocked Oklahoma Joe’s down a peg. I went here tonight with my boyfriend. After telling the waitress we had not been there before, she offered up a sample of the ham salad. I was skeptical, but it was amazing. The special of the day was red beans and rice, which my boyfriend got. I chose the burnt ends with fries and cheesy corn. We both agreed that everything was delicious and there was plenty of food for both of us to get a second meal out of it. The service was great. Very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back.
Great food with consistent quality. This is our go-to because the meat is always lean and delicious. Staff is very friendly and does an amazing job servicing the tables. Rarely a line and we love the sauce bar!
My husbands and I ate at Brobeck’s because of a friend’s recommendation. The food is very good. I like the fact the meat is smoked without sauce. They have a nice selection of sauces to choose from on the table and additional sauces at a sauce bar. Our server was very friendly and attentive! She seemed genuinely pleased to wait on us. Over hearing the owner complain about his staff to customers at a near by table was a letdown and a bit of a distraction to our dining experience.
Always great!. I’ve eatin’ at every BBQ restaurant in KC over the last 35 years and this place is consistently one of the best!. The ham salad is the best I’ve ever had anywhere and if you’ve never had a smoked pork chop, I dare you to eat one of Brobeck’s. I haven’t even mentioned my favorite – The baby back ribs! Excellent food, and great service.
