We sat at the bar because there was a line waiting to get a table. The food is absolutely wonderful and our bartender Aubrey was very friendly. The service and speed was right on point. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich and a bowl of potato soup. Absolutely fantastic sandwich the soup was fresh and thick!! I highly recommend this establishment!

Semi-comfort food and some oddities like the Spaghetti Lasagna which bears little resemblance to lasagna other than being a rectangular solid. They do have a good queso appetizer which can be ordered with beef added at no additional charge.Like their combinations which often work out well for lunch or a light dinner. Also like their Monte Christo sandwich occasionally.None of the Cheddar’s have snappy service, but this one is even a bit slower than most. It is not terrible, just might not choose to eat here if I were in a hurry.

Surprisingly good – give it a chance. Not only is Cheddar’s a great value, their service is typically above average, and the food is always good. Latest example – ordered the half rack of ribs for lunch last week – I recommend it to anyone – I’m a KC native and these are among the best. Give it a try – but show up early for lunch or dinner – otherwise you’re looking at a 15-20+ minute wait. Guess there are people out there who agree with me. They should. All the best – a new fan.

Mmm good home cooked food. I’ve been here once for my dad’s fiances bday and it was great. For an appetizer we ordered onion rings, they were piled high and very crispy with ranch or another sauce that was kinda strong, horseradish I think. For my meal I ordered the dinner size chicken fried chicken. It came with 2 chicken breats, texas toast, green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. it was delicous! Will probably just do the lunch size next time, its A LOT of food

No thanks. This was my first time at cheddars and it will also be my last. We had received a coupon from cheddars for joining their eclub and they would not accept the coupon. I have never had any issues with using coupons at any restaurants so thanks for the perfect first impression.

Downhill. Second time in a month food is 30 minutes arriving AFTER we were done with our salads and is room temp or colder. No manager in sight or offer to compensate. We will tell ten friends who will tell ten friends, etc. That’s the death nell for a restaurant. Explains why you can get seated immediately at prime dinner hour and you used to have to wait at least 20 minutes a year ago.

Terrible Management. I ordered the chicken fried chicken dinner which comes with two breasts, green beans and mashed potatoes. I got halfway through my first chicken and it was raw. Not a little pink. Not iridescent. FLAT OUT RAW! I was starving so I ate the potatoes and green beans, told the waitress, and she apologized. She offered to bring me another plate and I said due to time, don’t worry but let her manager know that this is disappointing. She comes back and says that her manager will only charge me the lunch portion instead of the dinner portion. So my possible sickness and absolute unacceptably cooked meal is worth $1.50 off my meal. At this point I am upset since the $1.50 is an insult in addition to the fact the manager never felt the need to personally apologize to my face. Kimberly, the waitress, was very gracious but I asked to speak to the manger who thinks $1.50 off is acceptable. Short end of it, I paid full price, told the manager she should feel embarrassed about the lack of respect shown, and will never go there again.
