New name. So oriental garden is now called china garden. The phone number is still the same and they deliver. We got carry out and it was ready super fast! The spring rolls were good the egg drop soup was not the gereral toas chicken was favorful but not spicy and the pork lo mein was very oily but it was nice to have brown rice as an option.
Good Food – Average Service. My wife and I have ordered takeout for our family from this restaurant on three occassions. The food orders have always been correct and they’ve even thrown in a free appetizer on two orders. Average wait time for 4 entrees has been about 15 to 20 minutes. The food has always been really good and is equal to the other takeout places in town. A couple of notes to the owners to improve… the pictures on the wall should all be from China, the odd greek isle picture doesn’t go with your restaurant…also, an air curtain over the front door would keep the restaurant warmer in the winter when the wind is blowing…and finally, it’s odd to walk into the restaurant with dishes on the table and an employee finishing a meal in the dining area. All in all, great for takeout, but not a place to eat at.
Rude Staff. I called in about an order that was filled incorrectly, and the phone call didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped. The conversation was mainly me trying to talk to the staff, with no one speaking to me, just sitting in silence. They also gave me shrimp instead of chicken. I wonder if they did it just to get an extra buck. I wouldn’t suggest going here. Your time and money are much better spent at Fortune Wok.
Bad place. Walked in to pick up food, and it had a putrid smell. First time we ordered, we asked for chicken chow mein, but got shrimp chow mein and were charged extra for the shrimp. Second chance, we ordered chicken fried rice and got shrimp fries rice, and again were charged extra for the shrimp. the second time, we called back and told them that this wasn’t the first order they got wrong. they refused to give a refund, or to take the order back, or to even replace it. The call ended with the manager hanging up on us. Very poor customer treatment. I would not recommend. It may be less costly, but it certainly shows in taste and over all quality of food, staff, and environment.
Great for reasonable carryout super fast. Get a combination lunch or dinner I like General Tso and Kung Pao. You can tell a place like this is a winner when their shrimp dishes are very good.
