Worst dining experience of my entire life! First waitress was awesome and deserves better..her name was Lauren. The rest of the night was terrible. My family and I won’t be back

Good Local Place. I have been to Coach’s many different times. I enjoy the daily food specials and feel the service is pretty darn good compared to some of the other local establishments. During the last four times I have been there the manager checked on us three times which hardly ever happens anymore. Get the Chicken Pecan Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, or the Chicken Jack Nachos. Best patio around and the drink prices are the lowest around. Negatives: Parking, Not a fan of the seats on the upstairs patio. You sit too low to the table. Why cant I have my cocktail in a plastic cup?

Don’t reserve one of their rooms for a function.. When you put down a deposit for a room, it is natural to expect certain amenities. When you tell them that 50-60 people will be there you don’t expect seating for onlly 40. You also expect more than 2 waitpersons to work the room. Finally, you expect the manager to make an appearance to see if all is well. However, at Coach’s in Overland Park, once they have your deposit, you are at their mercy.

Keep driving down to Metcalf. Went to Coaches last night and met my family. We started with potato skins, they were good. Not real complicated, potato, cheese, bacon bits. My wife had wings, came dry, no flavor. Daughter had a wrap, ate half threw the rest away; she said bland, no flavor. My son had a burger, adequate nothing special. I had their famous buffalo chicken sandwich, bun and chicken breast soggy, ate my onion straws, so did my wife and daugther. Spent $74 dollars on the meal with two beers, will not return. If you want a better experience go to 135th and Metcalf, Talk of The Town much better food. I can see Gordon Ramsey visiting Coaches soon telling the owners how they got in debt.

Good set up to watch games, but the food was average bar food. We hoped for something better as Coach’s always seems busy. We might give it another shot, but will hopefully make some better choices in ordering. Please find some seasoning for the fries. Bland fries are a tragedy.

The first time I ate here (last november) was immediately after their opening. As expected they clearly had some kinks to work out. After coming back in this past weekend, it is apparent nothing has changed. Warm tasteless food and terrible service. Some servers shouldn’t be allowed to work with the public.

Would not recommend. Service, or lack of was very apparent – asked for a specific table, in not a crowded upstairs and were told we could not sit there – this was the upstairs patio. Unfriendly staff, and were not willing to work with us on a table. A bunch of young girls working who have no customer service experience and don’t know how to treat the PAYING customer – will never go here again and will not recommend it to anyone. Actually walked out and gave back the menus.12 Aug, 2012CRAP. Crappy service before we could even get seated. Won’t bother with an establishment that wnts you to treat them like they’re the customer!
